I’ve found Airtable makes this kind of thing significantly easier from a UX point of view. Google Sheets is pretty good, but Airtable is just plain easier to use, search, filter, and to reuse but also add tags. And you get a working mobile UI and form entry for free. Readers setting up fresh might consider that alternative, too.

Also, it’s worth noting LinkedIn has an export feature to bootstrap this. I just wish someone would build a sync feature for this use case between Airtable and LinkedIn or other contact formats.
